Conecuh National Forest

Alabama has many canoeing opportunities. Some of the more popular lakes are at the Geneva State Forest and the Blackwater Bay near Conecuh National Forest.  Pea River Outdoors offers canoe rentals, along with transport to Weeks Bridge, all at a reasonable price. Canoeing also makes for a lot of fishing opportunities. Lake Jackson State Park and Florala State Park offer some great catches when it comes to fishing. Take a trip out onto the water while staying at our rental.

Geneva State Forest is Alabama's largest state forest. It provides excellent fishing opportunities and has 100-acres of lake available to canoe. Lake Frank Jackson is a popular attraction for fishing. There, you'll find mainly bass, bream, crappie, and catfish. Boat launch ramps and a grassy beach are provided to give access to boaters, canoe paddlers, and swimmers. A bridge spanning a section of Lake Frank Jackson serves as a wetland wildlife viewing area. We hope for our guests to enjoy a day at the lake admiring the beautiful area.
